We collect certain vehicle information through API integration with trusted Third Party GPS Service Providers. The information includes: vehicle registration plate number, GPS location data of the vehicle, speed of the vehicle, engine on/off status.

B. Information Collected Automatically

With Whom We May Share Your Information

* Business Partners: Partners with whom we collaborate to offer additional services.

We use other providers to carry out services on our behalf or to help us provide services to you. We also use them to:

* provide customer-service, marketing, infrastructure and information-technology services;

* personalise our service and make it work better;

Where we use another organisation, we still control your personal information. And we have strict controls in place to make sure it’s properly protected. 

Additional Information For European Individuals

This section applies to individuals in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and the United Kingdom (“UK”).

Data Controller/Data Processor. Cargo Radar generally acts as the data processor on behalf of our Customers for the processing of Customers’ GPS Vehicle Information (described above) and other information that we collect at the direction of our Customers. We process this data pursuant to our Customers’ instructions and subject to our agreements with them. 

We act as the data controller for the processing of Contact Information, Account Information and Data and Information Collected Automatically (each as described above).

International Transfer

Cargo Radar may transfer your personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland that may not have the same data protection laws as your home country. When we do so, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your privacy rights and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK Addendum.

Your Rights

Under certain circumstances you have the following rights in relation to your Personal Data that we process as a data controller:

* Access: You have the right to request a copy of your personal data held by us. Though there may be exceptions, such as situations affecting others' privacy or legal obligations, you're entitled to review your data. If you ask us, we will confirm whether we are processing your Personal Data and, if so, provide you with a copy of that Personal Data along with certain other details. 

* Rectification: We strive to maintain the accuracy, currency, and completeness of your personal data. Please inform us promptly of any inaccuracies or changes, enabling us to keep your information up-to-date. If we shared your Personal Data with others, we will tell them about the correction where possible. If you ask us, and where possible and lawful to do so, we will also tell you with whom we shared your Personal Data so you can contact them directly.

* Restrict Processing: Under certain circumstances, you can object to the processing of your personal data and request its blocking, erasure, or restriction. 

* Portability: You have the right to request some of your personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format, for your own reference or for transmission to another data controller.

* Objection: You may ask us at any time to stop processing your Personal Data, and we will do so:

If we are relying on a legitimate interest to process your Personal Data -- unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing or we need to process your data in order to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; If we are processing your Personal Data for direct marketing. We may keep minimum information about you in a suppression list in order to ensure your choices are respected in the future and to comply with data protection laws (such processing is necessary for our and your legitimate interest in pursuing the purposes described above);

* Erasure: You can request the erasure of your personal data when it's no longer necessary for its original purposes, or in other specific circumstances.

* We aim to respect your requests while safeguarding information. Hence, when you delete or change your information, we might not do so immediately from our backup systems or copies on active servers. We may retain some data to fulfil your requests (e.g., keeping your email address off our marketing list).

There are some exceptions to these rights, for example we might not be able to delete your data if we need it to fulfil your contract or we are required to keep it by law.
